The central location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the main square in the charming old town.

I stayed at Anselmus Hotel with 7 other girlfriends for our annual getaway . I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is perfectly located . If i had to think of anything negative to say it would be that the hotel would not suit someone unsteady on their feet as the staircases are extremely steep.

atmosphere in the hotel is wonderful: the layout, furniture, interior, whole environment, most importantly, attitude of the staff create an absolutely homely coziness! location is excellent - to the central squares of Burg and Markt 5 minutes on foot, to the station in 20 minutes. hotel is in an old house, Beds were comfortable. beds are comfortable, beds are soft, room and common areas are clean. Breakfasts are good: cereals, muesli, sausages, cheeses, fruits, delicious coffee and pastries - there is enough choice and everything is delicious! At the reception, mostly there was a young man - very friendly, courteous, with pleasure, answering all questions and helping in everything (we have the impression that he - the owner of this hotel). Anyway, thanks a lot to him - everything was great! rest of the staff also did not lag behind: the girl at the reception, too, perfectly coped with our request, girl engaged in the provision of breakfast, a very big good boy - she alone managed to ensure that the plates and jugs with food not to empty and all the time there was a rich selection of products.

We had only one micro-minus, but not at the hotel as a whole, but at our room: we got a room in the attic floor, which in itself is even pleasant - the flavor is certain in it. But thus it was necessary to be beaten with head about low doorways and protruding from walls and ceiling bearing beams :(( Plus because of the same small volume of a premise (because of low and vaulted ceilings, at sufficient area) at night was stuffy, but to open windows on ventilation was impossible, because under windows stood children's beds. Justice for the sake of note, that we did not begin with this question to address to personnel - quite probably, number to us could replace.

The room was elegant and bright, complete with lovely warm duvets and a bathtub. The hotel has a great and awesome location, near all the major sites like The Burg, bars, and restaurants. Easy access to a fabulous 13th-century belfry.

The restaurant was pleasant for an excellent breakfast and for every budget.

hotel is nice, quiet, traditional for Bruges, staff is friendly, check-in was late, we kindly left an envelope with a key and a detailed description of the accommodation, unfortunately we did not like the room: raw, dark, triple-decorated (hair in several places), in my opinion, not on the ground floor, in the semi-basement. In the morning the girl at reception at our request immediately replaced it, thank you! thank you. It's a 5-minute walk to the central square, all nearby.

Breakfast: it has to be changed, eggs only twisted (at least an omelette to add), ham is not the first freshness, sausage and cheese with raw peel, coffee is not tasty, hot water is not hot enough to make tea, all four breakfasts have not changed anything, the third decided not to eat, went to breakfast in town, the fourth left. We wanted to see in the room: a tiny fridge, at least a bottle of water when we entered, and a toilet ruff. There's no need for a TV in wonderful, magical Bruges. Hotel rating is solid-7.

The Black Swan Hotel in Bruges is in a fantastic location, situated at a convenient distance from a charming local history museum. I booked a room with a comfortable double bed.

Location, staff, cleanliness, everything is fine.

Breakfast is a bit scarce, but it's not bad overall.

Quirky place with amazingly attentive staff at the reception desk, loved it. The location was fantastic and magnificent, short walk to main town square/attractions, the historical centre of Bruges and the main center.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with top-class staff at the reception desk. The food selection is amazing. Its location is wonderful, just steps away from Market Square, surrounded by bars, restaurants, the market, and the main square.

The hotel was conveniently placed for easy access to the city centre with buses to the station. Good accommodation, good breakfast. Ideal hotel for senior couple but a lift would be welcome. Old enough to be interesting.( the hotel not the couple)

Conveniently located close to the market and city center. The room was peaceful, and the bathroom was tidy and equipped with a shower, hairdryer, and soft bath towels. 🚿

Lots of personal attention. Great wifi incvluded. Excellent breakfaat.

I really enjoyed my stay at Anselmus hotel. The location is nice. The room is very clean. Buffet breakfast is good the hotel restaurant has very lovely garden. We will recommend this hotel to our friends. Jeab
